For over two decades, I have served as a trauma surgeon within an academic setting. Every day, I witness how quickly life can change, how precious each moment is, and how deeply our inner world shapes the way we move through our outer world. In addition, I have been a life long learner of physics, philosophy and the Bible. These disciplines have always felt connected to me: each, in it’s own way, seeks to understand the nature of our existence, the forces that govern our lives, and the meaning we derive from being here on this planet together. My intrigues with the human soul, – the science and the overall mystery – have driven me to create the venture of wellness as our legacy.
My website is built around two pillars -Spiritual wellness and Physical wellness
Spiritual wellness applies to the human mind, the soul’s orientation, the dimension of ourselves that contemplates meaning and wrestles with emotions. I believe that cultivating spiritual wellness – presence, reflection, emotional steadiness, gratitude, compassion – is foundational to a fulfilling life.
Physical wellness relates to the extraordinary resilience of the human body and the delicate balance that sustains it. Nutrition, exercise, and optimizing healthcare contribute to physical well-being. This section of the site will offer practical guidance shaped by years of clinical experience, from maintaining metabolic health to understanding how small, consistent choices compound over time.
